The Business Development Executive will work closely with our valuable prospects and clients while providing world-class customer experiences at every touchpoint. The Business Development Executive will effectively present the suite of RealTime products to potential clinical research customers with both exceptional quality and expertise. The Business Development Executive will be able to decipher each clients’ needs and goals and showcase the RealTime solutions that present the best fit for the client.


The Business Development Executive is responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Generate and/or respond to leads; Follow-up to qualify, disqualify, nurture, and ultimately close opportunities. Expected lead gen activities include, but not limited to:
    • Respond to requests for product overviews and demonstrations
    • Attend conferences and events as requested or needed
    • Generating lists and cold calling
    • Generate referrals
  • Present online sales demonstrations of various RealTime platforms and products
  • Maintain Sales pipeline and provide timely follow up with potential leads; Maintain proper documentation of all communication within the RealTime Sales Management system
  • Monitor and report competitors’ marketing and sales activities and capabilities
  • Negotiate agreement language with potential client and/or legal counsel
  • Communicate product or service opportunities and feedback gathered through customer outreach processes
  • Research, evaluate and recommend new business solutions for current and potential customers
  • Learn and understand RealTime’s go to market, key service offering and sales strategies; be able to lead walk through of RealTime’s standard corporate presentation with customers and prospects
  • Participate and contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, client and strategy meetings.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years sales experience
  • Understanding of sales and marketing statistics, KPIs and benchmarks
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
  • Solid organizational, planning and follow up skills, including attention to detail, timely communications and ability to multi-task.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Sales and Marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience within the clinical research industry or biotech field
  • Bachelors degree in a business, information technology or sales and marketing fields

The Accounting Specialist will perform standard accounting/clerical duties such as: calculations, postings, verifications, audits, securing revenue, and reporting and researching duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accurate and timely accounting records. The position is assigned to perform all responsibilities related to billing, collections, and accounts receivable. The Accounting Specialist must understand the effects of debit/credit entries on accounting records in order to process detailed routine transactions research/correct errors and resolve report discrepancies within their specific function.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Monthly billing of all customers by the 15th of the month by documenting accurate financial information in the system
  • Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness and obtain missing and correct data
  • Ensure Quickbooks remains accurate and communicate discrepancies immediately
  • Collection efforts of all accounts to ensure payments within 30 days
  • Send weekly past due notices via Quickbooks
  • Maintain Coupa
  • Ensure sales tax is posted properly based on the product or service
  • If sales tax exempt, request, file, and review periodically in Quickbooks
  • Ongoing communication with Financial Controller to ensure smooth business performance and timely communication of important issues
  • Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data quality and consistency and follow up on tasks to their completion
  • Daily posting of payments on account via check/ACH/wires/Auto Pay/credit card and other payment methods
  • Attend required meetings (one on ones/business operations meeting/employee meetings)
  • Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule. This role may view protected health information (PHI) as part of daily duties

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years experience in general accounting

Quickbooks Desktop

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Prior experience working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

Solid understanding of billing processes

Collections experience

A willingness to learn new ways of being efficient

Handle complexity with composure and thoroughness

Keep client matters strictly confidential, essential

Attention to detail, essential

The RealTime Documentation and Compliance Specialist will serve as the liason for the overall RealTime Documentation and Compliance policies and procedures. Maintaining documentation and facilitate up-to-date notices to all RealTime staff and customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

    • Document software updates and digital content for accuracy, grammar, spelling and punctuation
    • Notify customers of software updates in a timely manner.
    • Facilitate and deliver initial and ongoing training to the staff for HIPAA compliance and company SOPs.
    • Review and maintenance of company SOPs and policies.
    • Audit departmental SOPs and communicate progress and findings.
    • Develop educational materials related to documentation and compliance.
    • Sales enablement through completion of customer questionnaires and RFP’s.
    • Edit and publish documentation for the knowledgebase solution
    • Work with departmental stakeholders to capture additional materials for the knowledgebase solution.
    • Update WordPress application pages and resources.
    • Document Corrective Action Preventative Action plan (CAPA) customer encounters in RTMS system.
    • Maintain and update compliance with company policies and procedures regarding the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
    • Perform other tasks as required.

RealTime is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to spearhead web and mobile-based application development primarily using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including React). In this role you will be helping to execute and propel the evolution of some of the industry leading software systems we build. Additionally, you will partner with business owners, lead developer, and the broader RealTime team to define/enhance solutions in order to meet business and customer needs as well as performance, operational and security requirements.

In this role you will:

  • Analyze complex development requirements and propose solutions
  • Communicate frequently with external stakeholders and product owners
  • Collaborate with developers on code reviews and process enhancements
  • Respond and manage internally and externally sourced bug/defect reports
  • Complete technical designs where necessary
  • Oversee integration, QA and deployments
  • Implement strategies to detect and mitigate security issues
  • Continually develop skills, knowledge, and abilities to maintain currency with new developments in data architecture, data integrations, data transformation, APIs, and data management.


  • Strong knowledge of web fundamentals: HTML and CSS
  • 5+ years professional experience with PHP
